Soothing Dental provides prescription dental products through a teledentistry service in which a licensed dentist reviews your health information before any prescription is issued. This page explains how the service works, who prescribes, and where it is available.
Where our telehealth services are available
Our telehealth prescription services are currently available only to patients physically located in the following states:
California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Texas, and Washington.
We do not offer prescription services to patients located in any other state at this time. If you are located outside these states, you will not be able to complete a prescription order.
How it works
- Select the prescription dental product you need.
- Verify your identity and complete a confidential dental and medical health questionnaire.
- A dentist licensed in your state reviews your questionnaire and health history and exercises independent clinical judgment.
- If the product is appropriate for you, the dentist authorizes the prescription and your order ships. The dentist may also request additional information, or may decline if the product is not appropriate for you.
Our prescribing provider
All prescriptions are reviewed and authorized by Dr. Azar Sona Saeidi, DMD, who holds an active dental license in each state where our services are offered. A prescription is issued only after Dr. Saeidi reviews the patient’s submitted health information and determines that the product is appropriate for the patient.
Products we provide
We provide only non-controlled, topical, self-applied dental products — for example, 5,000 ppm prescription fluoride toothpaste (1.1% sodium fluoride) and 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse. These products are not controlled substances. Indications and directions for use are listed on each product page in our store.
Fees
The dentist’s clinical review is included at no additional charge. You pay only the product price shown at checkout, plus shipping as described in our Shipping Policy. There are no membership fees or hidden charges.
